At Birdie Fortescue we are proud to share the location of our new showroom and shop, located at 4 Clipbush Business Park, Hawthorn Way, Fakenham - now open Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm.

A Carefully Curated Transformation

Previously the location of our outlet store and company HQ, the Fakenham space has now been lovingly transformed into a destination showroom, allowing us to showcase Birdie Fortescue’s evolving collections in a more immersive way. With our head office now based in South Creake, this location is exclusively dedicated to showcasing design, craftsmanship, and interiors.

Pop in to explore our current Santísima collection, inspired by Cuba’s vibrant spirit and sun-drenched textures, as well as our exciting recent collaboration with garden designer Butter Wakefield. You’ll find an inspiring mix of rugs, cushions, lighting, home and dining accessories, and furniture (including antiques) - each piece carefully styled to help you visualise it in your own home. Every corner has been curated by Birdie and our interiors team to reflect our signature aesthetic: versatile, timeless, and beautifully layered.

Out and About in North Norfolk

This beautiful region offers a rich variety of landscapes, from windswept beaches and rolling countryside to peaceful nature reserves. Here are three of our favourite local spots to explore while you’re here:

Blakeney Point Nature Reserve

A wildlife haven and one of Norfolk’s most iconic natural landscapes. Take a boat trip from Morston Quay to spot the resident seal colony, then enjoy a walk through salt marshes, dunes, and mudflats - perfect for birdwatching throughout the seasons.

Norfolk Coast Path: Hunstanton to Wells-next-the-Sea

One of the most scenic stretches of the coastal path, this route takes in cliffs, beaches, pinewoods, and salt marshes. Walk as much or as little as you like, with plenty of charming villages and welcoming pubs to stop at along the way.

Sheringham Park

A National Trust favourite, Sheringham Park offers panoramic views, landscaped gardens, and seasonal highlights like the Rhododendron and Azalea Walk in spring. Climb the treetop gazebo for stunning views of the Norfolk Coastline and follow one of the many walking trails for a relaxed day outdoors.

A Short Detour: Holt

Just a short drive away, the market town of Holt is full of character and charm. Once home to our original Birdie Fortescue showroom (now closed), it remains a hub for independent shopping, art galleries like The Gallery Holt, and antique treasures. Surrounded by countryside and close to the coast, it’s perfect for exploring on foot. Don’t miss a bite to eat at The Feathers - a local favourite.
