Our quilted bedspreads are printed in our popular Crosshatch pattern which is a contemporary take on traditional Kente cloth. Originating from West Africa, Kente cloth is produced in narrow woven strips which are then stitched together to form bolts of cloth. For this print we have stripped this idea down to its most basic form to create a small scale geometric print.
The pattern has been hand block printed on linen and paired with a plain off white linen back. Trimmed with a matching fan edge, these bedspreads are a truly versatile design which would work well in both an eclectic or minimalist bedroom.

Available in two sizes: 180 x 325cm and 270 x 325cm
Please note: This bedspread is designed to be extra long in order that it can tuck underneath the pillows and then fold up over them to create a clean and neat finish.

Orders take up to 5 working days to arrive and are sent either with DHL or similar courier company.
COVID-19 - Please note that due to working on reduced staff numbers, orders may take up to 7 working days to arrive.
Please note that orders to Jersey, the Channel Islands, Scottish Highlands & Islands and some parts of Wales may be subject to an additional charge and free shipping promotions may not apply to these areas.
Be aware that shipping for art, antiques and furniture may attract additional delivery charges.
Collect from Store
Click and Collect is available at the checkout and orders are available for collection 9.30am - 4.30pm, Monday to Friday.
We will get your order ready as soon as possible and you will be notified via email that your order is ready for collection.
Collection orders ordinarily take 1 working day to be fulfilled, although this may change in busy periods. If you need to collect urgently, please give us a call on 01328 851651 and we will arrange this for you.
Social distancing guidelines must be maintained throughout collection. Returns must be sent back via courier.
Returns and Exchanges
You have a right to return your order under the distance selling regulations for any item purchased on a fixed priced sale for a full refund within 28 days. However, you must take reasonable care of the item/s. You will be responsible for the shipping costs both to and from your address.
Sale items are returnable within 14 days after receipt in return for a full refund. Sale items returned within 14-28 days after receipt will be exchanged for a credit note.
To cancel your order you must advise us by writing toonline@birdiefortescue.co.uk before your order is dispatched.
All parcels are sent back at your own risk. We advise using recorded delivery as the parcel is not our responsibility until we sign for it.
Please note: We only accept the return of items if sent back in original unused condition; we reserve the right to reject items that are returned in what we consider to be an unsaleable condition.
