Story - Limited Edition Turkish Cushions

We are delighted to introduce our new Limited Edition cushion collection. Sourced by Birdie in Turkey, bold vintage linen stripes coordinate beautifully with unique silk Ikat motifs. 

The striking Ikat textiles are created using a traditional dying technique. Firstly, the warp yarns are bound and dyed by hand before being woven with the weft yarns. The bindings are then altered to create their characteristic designs. Vibrant natural dyes give a beautiful understated hue to the traditional Middle Eastern patterns.
