At Birdie Fortescue, lighting is designed by Birdie to bring warmth, character and balance to a space. All lamps are fitted for US use, with harp fittings and correct US wiring. Our US collection ships directly from within the United States, with no import fees and easy returns to our US warehouse.
All of our lamps use an E27 screw-in bulb, which is compatible with a standard US E26 bulb. We recommend using a 40W equivalent LED bulb in a pearl or opal (frosted) finish, rather than clear, as clear bulbs can sometimes cast shadows from the lampshade fitting.
Our lampshades are designed to be compatible with standard US harp fittings, making them easy to use with US lamps.
Yes, all of our lamps are fully wired for US use and come complete with a harp fitting for your lampshade.
