Taking inspiration from surrounding landscapes, her starting point is often the passing seasons and wide, changing moods of her East Anglian home. 'I make paintings that chart and describe the skies, seas, moons, fields, flowers, and foliage of the area: canvases of energy and flux. These works are felt and heard as much as seen, stirring memories and experiences from these vast counties. Unexpected colour combinations stimulate, and bring energy to interior spaces.' Recently Claire has been exploring abstract forms in flowers, which has proved to be an exciting addition to her portfolio.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eClaire lives in Norwich, Norfolk, and studied at the Norwich School of Art, and the Universities of Lancaster and Oxford, reading both Art and Music. A synaesthete (which, in Claire’s case, means that colour and sound are experienced interchangeably) shifting hues, brushstrokes, and abstract patterns are at the heart of her works.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eClaire regularly exhibits in Norfolk and Suffolk, London, and across the UK. Claire is a Norfolk based artist who studied at the Norwich School of Art, and the Universities of Oxford and Lancaster. A synaesthete with a particular sense for colour and sound, she uses music as a starting point for many of her bold, abstract paintings.

UK Furniture Delivery
For UK furniture delivery, please allow 7-10 working days for your order to arrive. You will receive a notification of when your delivery is due to arrive and our courier team will place the item in the room you choose and unwrap the piece, so please ensure someone is available to accept delivery of the item.
Made to Order Pieces
Our made to order pieces are handcrafted in the UK, please allow 4-6 weeks for your piece to be created and delivered. You will receive an update when the item is ready to be shipped.
International Orders
We are delighted to ship internationally. Please note, we may need to ask for an additional contribution for shipping internationally. Duties and taxes are not included in our shipping quotes.
Returns and Exchanges
If you do need to return an item, simply raise a request via our Returns Portal, you will need your order number and email address or post code.
For full price items the return window is 28 days upon delivery, sale items must be returned within 14 days of delivery.
Please note, our Made to Order Furniture is hand crafted just for you and since every piece is bespoke, we are unable to offer refunds on items in this collection. However, we do understand that sometimes things do not always go as planned so we offer 7 days to amend the order once it has been placed and if a return is absolutely unavoidable then we are happy to help. Please note, that a 40% restocking fee will be deducted from your return to cover the costs of your custom-made piece, and all shipping fees are non-refundable.
