Holly MacDonald lives and works between London and Berkshire. She graduated from Edinburgh College of Art in 2018 with a BA in Painting, and completed her Masters in Curatorial Practice at Glasgow School of Art in 2022. Holly’s work is a personal and universal adoration of the countryside of Scotland, Ireland, and England. The small white washed houses dotted along the rural coastline, and tucked into valleys, are the characters in her scenes. Symbols of home, nestled in the wilderness and steadfast facing the elements.
