Imprint Casts - Botanical Intaglio Collection Mini
This framed trio of botanical intaglios by artist Katy Eccles of Imprint Casts is a new addition to the Birdie Fortescue art collection. . Each miniature cast in the piece has been made using a unique casting technique tocapture the imprint of the delicate botanical forms. The intaglios have been hand painted various shades of blue to finish mounted in this bespoke hand painted mushroom brown frame. Katy’s framed miniature collections are a modern interpretation of the tradition of collecting and presenting intaglios collected on the Grand Tour in the 18th century.
