We are delighted to be able to share the first part of our new Autumn/Winter collection with you.
Our new Chowa Collection uses the rich autumnal tones of Merlot, Clover, Midnight and Walnut throughout napkins, tablecloths and cushions. With the quiet linear backdrop of the new Siriki tablecloth coupled with the clean geometric design of the co-ordinating placemats and napkins, the collection provides a simple and understated foundation for layering a table.
Tables paired with a myriad of glassware, freshly picked flowers or delicate ceramics can create a rich and vibrant table setting perfect for any gathering, whether formal or relaxed.

Sofas and chairs combine our staple embroidered velvet, striped linen and floral printed cushions with Limited Edition pieces made from khadi cotton, silk and wool. With the final addition of a splendent Kantha or Suzani throw, these pieces can create a striking yet effortlessly eclectic look in any home.
For this collection we were very lucky to shoot at the incredible Creake Abbey. The impressive ruins of the Abbey stand in a meadow between North Creake and Burnham Market on the North Norfolk Coast. While the ruins tell tales of disaster and demolition, the beautifully restored adjoining houses and barns showcase the now utterly charming essence of this location.
Creake Abbey was violently ravaged by fire and plague resulting in the death of the last abbot of Creake Abbey in 1506. At this point, the abbey was given to the newly founded Christ’s College in Cambridge therefore escaping the total destruction of the reformation. Today the ruins are owned and maintained by English Heritage and are open to the public. The houses and barns have been painstakingly restored by the Scott family to create a stunning family home alongside a successful rural retail site with a monthly farmer’s market.
With striking wallpaper, boldly painted walls and the historic brick and flint walls of the barns, the house at Creake Abbey has brought to life the dynamism of the Chowa collection. Shooting at this location truly was a joy!
We would like to give special thanks to the Scott family for hosting us, as well as Matt Keal for his beautiful photography. We would also like to acknowledge the hard work of Kelling Designs, without whom we wouldn’t have had such wonderful interiors to work with and the main house wouldn’t be the beautiful home it is today.
