Rattan is a sensitive material, and there are natural aging factors—such as direct light, exposure to open air, temperature variations, and dust—that can cause rattan to darken or dull over time. To extend the life of the rattan, we apply a lacquer coating to each production piece, which helps prevent it from darkening quickly.
I love this rattan lamp. It is a beautiful shape and design and is a nice and subtle complement to our living room. The lamp is a great shape for a corner living room table.
